Growing up, I despised brushing my teeth and this led to arguments with my mom. So, I started thinking – how am I going to get my child to brush twice a day, every day? That is when I came up with the idea for Flossy the Mouse.
Unfortunately, I did not realize the importance of brushing my teeth until it was too late and after spending thousands of dollars in restorative work. Teaching our children best practices and instilling healthy habits at a young age is important to ensure they follow them throughout their lives.
So if you or someone you know is having trouble getting their kids to brush their teeth - try Flossy and ‘My Brushing Chart’!
Flossy reports to the Tooth Fairy! When children lose their teeth Flossy will report to the Tooth Fairy whether the tooth has been brushed before a present is left. If it hasn’t, the child might wind up with nothing because, as we all know, the Tooth Fairy needs the best pearly whites!
Mice can easily sneak into someones house.
Whoever you want - it could be a parent, a grandparent, a relative, a friend, or even the Tooth Fairy! The book does not answer this question and it is up to you to decide who has asked Flossy has come.
Flossy's job is to make sure children are brushing their teeth twice a day, everyday.
Yes - although we recommend Flossy staying in the bathroom to watch brushing habits.
We have an interactive add-on option to purchase a booklet called ‘My Brushing Chart’ where kids can keep track of their brushing.
